Hi Everyone, hope someone can help, i am on a multi touristviss & i rented a cheap home in Chumphpn as a base to leave some of my items while i travel around & see other parts of thailand, the home filed a 90 day reporting when i arrived last month, i just got back from a Samui & Phuket holiday for 3 weeks, the home said i have to report again for this home to immigration, is this correct? and if so can i do this online?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster inquired about the necessity of filing a second report to immigration after returning to their rented home in Chumphon following a holiday. They mentioned having a multi-entry tourist visa and previously filed a 90-day report upon arrival. However, commenters clarified that the home actually submitted a TM30, not a 90-day report, and advised checking with local immigration offices regarding the requirement for another TM30 due to domestic travel.

ok the home wasn't filing any 90 day report ๐Ÿ˜ฎ They were filing a TM30 <- notification of foreigner in residence.

The TM30 online or mobile app make you register to use it THEN it can be used. OR you go apply in person. I would go talk to your immigration office to confirm that you must refile a new TM30. Many offices do not require another one be filed when you're just traveling domestically

here's the real thing. IF you're not going to go to the immigration office and get an extension <- the only reason someone on an METV would go ๐Ÿ˜‰ don't even waste your time on the TM30. The people at passport control exit/re-entering the country don't care in the least if you ever filed a TM30 at your local immigration office

How did you have to do a 90 day report? With a multi-entry tourist visa you have to leave the country every 90 days.

@Lloyd *******
they are confusing a 90 day reporting (TM47) with the TM30 filing showing a foreigner in residence
