When do I need to file a TM30 for my visa in Thailand?

When do I need the TM30 first time? For the 90 days report?

Generally, could I also use a TM29 (Self reported) if the lanlord refuses to do a TM30?

I plan to rent an airbnb for the first month in order to rent an appartment myself after that. But I realize that some Airbnb hosts are not willing to do the TM30. I know they are legally required to do it, but if they just don't... well...

TLDR : Answer Summary
In Thailand, the TM30 form must be submitted by your landlord within 24 hours of your arrival at a new accommodation. If you're staying in an Airbnb that refuses to file the TM30, you might consider postponing until you rent a permanent apartment. While the TM30 is important for immigration services, not having it from an Airbnb host may not prevent you from fulfilling other reporting requirements.

By the law on the TM30 needs to be filed within 24 hours of moving in to your accommodation. If the airbnb is unwilling to file for you you can wait until you rent an apartment. Not ideal but you really only need the TM30 to get services at immigration.
