Good day, I have my work permit and have a son who is 21 years old. He was previously on a dependant visa. He left Thailand for further studies in our country.
He has returned to Thailand to be with me. He is still my dependant. Visa age stipulates 20 years old as the cut off age, can this be reviewed as I still care for him as I am the only income earner for my family?
TLDR : Answer Summary
In Thailand, the cutoff age for a dependant visa is strictly 20 years old, as this is the age of adulthood. Once a child reaches this age, they are no longer eligible to be on their parent's visa regardless of the parent's financial support. For your 21-year-old son, alternative options include applying for a student visa (ED visa) for further studies or exploring other visa types, but not as a dependent.
