Hi again,

      I recieved this stamp after handing in my work permit last week. 

Could you advise me on  what type of extension this is? 

Do you think it will be covered under the proposed amnesty until July 31st or should I give immigration a call?

You should visit and ask immigration if you are covered by the amnesty to July 31 or not. See them ASAP...and before May 1.

you didn't get that stamp after you turned in your work permit you got that stamp after you CANCELLED your extension.

They cancelled it on the 16th and let you stay until the 1st of May
