Why did my husband receive an 'under consideration' stamp instead of a direct 60-day stamp for his COVID extension in Thailand?

Hi there, my husband did his 1st covid extension (60days) in Hua Hin. He had a 15days stamp and needed to come back again for the 45days stamp. Do you know why he didn’t directly got the 60days stamp ? Will it most likely be 2 stamps again next time (same covid) extension at the same immigration office ? Thank you !

TLDR : Answer Summary
The husband's initial COVID extension resulted in an 'under consideration' stamp rather than a direct 60-day stamp due to the immigration office's review process. For future COVID extensions at the same immigration office, it is likely he will receive another 'under consideration' stamp followed by the remaining time.

He was given an "under consideration" stamp. An under consideration stamp is where the immigration office reviews the paperwork and confirms he qualifies for the extension of stay.

Yes he would. He would be given another under consideration stamp, and then the balance fo the time will be given.
