What should I expect for my Covid extension in Kanchanaburi after my employment extension expires?

ORIGINAL POSTER
I was on an extension of stay based on employment that was due to expire on the 31st of January.

I am based in Bangkok but travelling in Kanchanaburi this week and after yesterday announcement I have panicked and decided to do a Covid extension here in Kanchanaburi.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think I got an under consideration stamp and the officer told me to come back next week for the extension.

A couple of questions:

- is this normal?

- is it certain that I am going to get the 60 days?

- Do I need to bring anything when I go back to Kanchanaburi next week?

Many thanks for your help

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user was on an extension of stay based on employment set to expire on January 31. They attempted to apply for a Covid extension in Kanchanaburi but are anxious about the process. They are unsure if receiving an 'under consideration' stamp is typical, if they will secure the 60-day extension, and what documentation they need to present during their next visit. Respondents confirmed that returning on February 1 with the payment receipt and passport is necessary, suggesting that getting an extension is likely.

So your last day of working was 17 jan when you cancelled the Extension of Stay and your Work Permit.

Yes, your new application is under consideration and you have to go back on the 1st of Feb.

Bring your receipt of payment and your passport.
