Hello everyone,
I require some advice or guidance please.
My retirement visa expires on the 28th December and I will not renew. I have booked a same-day return flight to KL on the 26/12. I have been informed that I only need to cancel my multiple entry permit at departure immigration Thailand. And that I receive a 60 day tourist visa upon my return at arrivals immigration TH.
Is this correct? Thanks for your time
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice regarding the cancellation of a multiple entry permit tied to their retirement visa, which is set to expire, and the process of obtaining a tourist visa upon returning to Thailand. They were informed that cancellation is possible at departure but faced uncertainty about immigration procedures upon return. Comments indicate that the cancellation might not be valid and that upon return, the user should request a Visa Exempt stamp instead, as their current visa extension remains active.
