What is the process for extending a Covid extension visa in Thailand?
Covid Extension experience here. Arrived in October on Tourist Visa, have been on Covid extension since 25th Jan, expiring 26th March.
Went to Koh Tao immigration this morning to ask about extension, officers said no problem whatsoever, telling me to return on the 25th March to get a further 60 days (they were happy to stamp me on the spot but can only add 60 days from day applied). Also said don’t need to worry about 90 day report. No proof of onward flight needed.

The user shares their experience with extending a Covid extension visa while in Thailand. Arriving on a tourist visa in October, they have been on a Covid extension since January 25 and are seeking to extend it further. Officers at Koh Tao immigration confirmed they can extend it for an additional 60 days without needing proof of onward flight or worrying about the 90-day report. However, they were informed that the extension would be effective from the application date.

thanx for the update (y)
Strange of them to say it would start the day you apply because you're already ON a covid extension and when you get an extension for the same reason it's added to the date you apply
Still at least you know you can get it (y)
