I asked for a soft power DTV at Frankfurt Embassy.
The embassy in Frankfurt is asking for a CV.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? What exactly do they require?
Thanks for your help

Yes I had the same thing. I send them my CV highlighting my sports history which shows why I want to train in Thailand and also adding some words why I want to train. Of course I also mentioned my professional skills and jobs. Next day I got approved
Don't you wish to have a cover letter highlighting your motivation, brief plan, work profile, how would you support yourself etc. for the better understanding of the visa official and strengthen your appln?
I also applied for the DTV Soft Power visa in Frankfurt on Thursday, and on Saturday I was asked for my CV. I submitted it immediately and have been waiting for confirmation ever since.
Received an email asking for my cv on October 10th, sent it two hours later and in the same evening I received my approved visa. Also applied for soft power.
Was illegal ist!
Should you intend to work somehow, better get a work permit, if you want to apply soft power, it’s ok but the DTV is nothing for opening an account or changing a tax status. For me it wasn’t the right one.
was my first time writing a cv as well. I don’t know but assume that they are just checking your profile, so that you don’t plan on working in Thailand maybe.
