Most soft power courses I came across were 9-12 months in length. It feels like the criteria for the DTV is getting stricter. I had to submit multiple additional documents. Others in Laos others had to do in person interviews showing financial statements and access to funds. Questioning how a person would support themselves in addition to the 500k baht requirement and motivation for taking the course they are applying for. I have a feeling immigration is trying to stop the DTV from getting abused like the ED visa was. There should be some Muay Thai course that is 12 months if you look.

Agree the requirements are definately getting tighter. When first initiated in July 2024 people got a DTV with a 1 month course and one person I know with 2 dental appointments

Paris, Jakarta 9mths is needed.. you will need to add on the months required to apply In Dhaka.

Other country’s are starting to request 9 months ( like Vietnam etc)

But it’s not a set rule per say
