Hello together i applyed for the DTV as Business owner in Frankfurt on the 03 January. Till Now nothing heared from them again no requests of additional Documents nothing 15 Working days over. I put the 26 of January as estimated travel Date which is tomorrow. Tryed to call them writing E-Mail no answeres. Is there someone else who apllyed for the DTV in Frankfurt how was the experience, how long was the waiting time? As i can not wait longer, i am now thinking to fly to Vietnam to apply there one more time. But the question is will it be possible to apply from Vietnam while the first one in Frankfurt in still pending? Thank you so much!

They are considering flying to Vietnam to reapply, questioning if it is allowed to have parallel applications in different locations. The time we applied we stay in Germany, as it took that long we need to move to Dubai as we need to work there.

We thought they finish that visa within 1-2 weeks. Anyway we can not take care about their work life balance or what can take that long to check online uploaded documents over 15 working days without any response.

Maybe they gonna ask next week for documents, we will not reply to this, better they reject it than and we gonna do it via Vietnam this problems/delays with Frankfurt we read before is nothing we can support. The only bad thing was we had to read it before applying via Frankfurt.

But actually seems that no one in this group can share any experience with that embassy in Frankfurt.

if you are no longer in franfurt don't be surprised if your application gets rejected. Apply via the consulate in Dubai if that's where you currently are. If you want to apply in Vietnam travel to Vietnam, apply via the appropriate consulate for your location in Vietnam and remain there until the process completes

for a start they ask for your location, not a good idea to lie on a visa application. Consulates have also been known to ask for proof so Vietnam can ask for entry stamps, time stamped photos of you with accommodation receipts or whatever or even ask you in for interview

The Frankfurt consulateโ€™s website says visas take at least 15 business days. There have been exactly 15 business days since you applied.

- probably not, but not sure it is worth flying from Germany to Vietnam and starting all over when you could be close with Frankfurt

We are actually based in Dubai so it would be not that far to Vietnam. As we have our Business in Dubai. The problem i read about frankfurt embassy that people wait 2 month for a decission. For me if they ask for documents better to reject it and re apply via Vietnam as it will be faster for sure than to provide any documents to frankfurt. But seems here are not many people apply via Frankfurt for DTV

you can only apply via the consulate that serves the location you are physically in and you have to remain there until the application process completes. So if you are in Dubai you can't apply via franfurt, and if you were briefly in franfurt and applied there you can't currently be in Dubai.

oh believe me what we can do or not is our decission. Its discusting how bad and unproffesional this Embassy in Germany is dealing with people.

Its not about that we need Thailand we was just about to move between Dubai and Thailand. So we are actually looking forward for rejection as after 16 working days still no response is.

Aswell we gonna do a complain at the goverment in Thailand against this Embassy in Frankfurt.

But the Main question was if someone else apply for DTV as Business owner (Manager) at that embassy which seems not the case.

You can not have 2 applications being processed at the same time. Have you contacted them via social media?that sometimes works better than email or phone.
