Hi there. I have a question for people who have been granted the DTV due to medical procedures. I have requested a schedule from the hospital to show the procedures and time frame. Does anybody know if these procedures need to be dated ie procedure one on the 1st of April, procedure two on the 15th etc. A better way of putting it is do the procedures have to be booked in or not? Many thanks for any help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question seeks clarity on whether specific dates for medical procedures must be scheduled and documented when applying for a DTV visa in Thailand. Responses emphasize the importance of having confirmed dates from the hospital to enhance application legitimacy. Some users suggest submitting an official invitation letter from the hospital and including a cover letter explaining the timeline of procedures, while others share success with a simple doctor’s letter.
All I submitted was a letter from my doctor in Bkk that stated I am a patient of hers and that hospital. It was on official hospital letterhead and signed by the doctor. Was approved no problem with no additional documents requested.
Ultimately the more exact the timetables the better for your application to look genuine and realistic. If appointment C needs to be timed and based on results from appointment B, then include a brief cover letter stating so. Definitely have appointments set and any follow-up appointments last as far into the future as possible. If you only show a month or two worth they might just issue you a tourist visa.
Confirm all the dates with the hospital. Have the hospital wrote you an official invitation letter confirming appointments. Send this in your visa application.
