TLDR : Answer Summary
If you're applying for a tourist e-visa in Thailand and don't have a Thai person to provide their ID as a supporting document, you typically do not need one. Instead, you can submit a copy of your own passport's ID page. Another common alternative is to use the name of your booked hotel for your first night's stay and upload the hotel's information from its Google or Facebook page.

A lot of people just put the name of the hotel they have booked for the first night

I'd just do that and upload a photo of their google info/fb page

There is no need for the tourist visa application to have a Thai to support you. If you have to upload, just upload a copy of your own passport Id page.
