Does anyone know how to fix this? Please advise. I don't know where to start. Is this just a name problem?🥲🥺

TLDR : Answer Summary
The community discusses the issue of a name error on a Thai visa application, emphasizing that if the name does not exactly match the passport (including middle names), a new application must be submitted, along with the required fees. Several users suggest checking the autofill details from the passport upload and highlight that there's no system to appeal or correct the name error after submission.
You’re going to need to submit a new application and ensure that your name on the application exactly matches your name in your passport. A common mistake people make is assuming that they don’t need to include their middle name since it is marked as optional.
I had exactly the same happen, on a New Zealand passport a week ago, they finally replied the day before I left. Name on passport same as name on application. I think it’s a money rort. Arrived on a holiday visa and I will go to immigration when my 60 days are up and see what I can do as I want to stay until May.
With first hand experience with this I have bad news and bad news for you. Its a new application. No. There are no appeals, no communication and no hope to reverse. When you apply it CLEARLY states you must check all details prior to submission (check like a hunting Hawk) because if there is any error whether your fault or system fault, it's a new application and another fee
Anonymous participant you can do that right away, I have a good friend of mine who got in a similar situation but I'd recommend to mail the embassy and double check with them how to fill in your name so that you won't have the same issue again even tho it seems that you put in a middle name (or an extra name) which isn't in your passport
it’s a name problem. Did you check the name autofill from the image capture of your passport was correct? People have reported that can be transcribed wrong sometimes.
You haven't put a middle name or something. Name has to be exact same as on the passport. Unfortunately nothing you can do, apart from apply again with correct name.
