My application was rejected for not having the same name as on my passport. But I can't access the application to see where or if this even happened. What can I do?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user faced rejection of their Thai visa application due to their name not matching their passport. They are unable to access their application to verify details. Commenters suggested that name mistakes are common and emphasized the importance of ensuring all documentation matches exactly. They advised the user to reapply and take care when submitting their information, as mistakes in the application can lead to rejection without recourse for corrections.
The golden rule before submitting any online application, is double or even triple check your own information. In this case a very expensive lack of attention to detail.

Why people always complain that their application is rejected?
I spent days to check out what papers are needed. I provided them all properly.
After 5 days I was asked to provide a professional portfolio. I worked on it for 4 hours, provided this and received my DTV within 5 hours. My daughter got her Visa, connected on mine, after 15 days. No trouble at all.
You should invest some time to apply properly, taking care your passport data's are correct and your bank account status.
In my case, I shifted due to paid interest rates my money from one bank to another within the 3 requested months, but showed properly that the money just was, transferred from one bank to the other.
DTV was approved.
Just make sure, your paperwork is proper!

Apparently I misphrased something.
I am unable to access the application which was rejected because the name doesn't match. All of my documents have the same exact name with the same exact spelling. I cannot correct an error that I cannot see if in fact any error has occurred at all.

Doesn’t matter, neither you or any Embassy staff can edit the passport information, as you would know from both the Embassy website and the e-visa manual.

Anonymous participant I am English, understand and sympathise. The embassy claim a mismatch between your passport name and your input name. However, they have failed to provide an acceptable level of customer service by not stating what the mismatch was. I believe you are entitled to ask for this information. If they fail to respond or you are not satisfied with their answer you have the option to ask your bank/credit card company to perform a ‘chargeback’. They will ask the embassy for an explanation for their failure to provide the product you have paid for. If the embassy’s explanation is deemed unsatisfactory or unreasonable or if they fail to respond within 30 days your application fee will be reimbursed.

Anonymous participant sadly you are not alone in the rejected DTV visa application. Try again if you want, but make sure the unloaded spelling data is correct. Or use an experienced agent to prepare the Evisa online application for you to SUBMIT from the country where you are at. Good Luck 🍀 with your application.

Anonymous participant Sounds like there was a a difference in names when you uploaded your passport docs. Name changes often occur then.

You should be able to click on the list of applications somewhere on the evisa platform. Sorry, I don't remember where and I can't access it now. But you can click on the application you submitted and see a popout of the personal information as you submitted it.

If you don’t believe them you’ve already lost one wrong letter will do it you’ll have to apply again on a good note they told you why you were rejected

You could have started by reading any Thai Embassy and the e-visa websites thoroughly, including the manual in top right corner.
Then you would have know that all and any mistakes ind the passport informations, is immediate grounds for rejection, and only a new application ( and visafee ) can change that.
Now you have to find out who you are, and what your name is, corresponding with the info in the machine readable field at the bottom of the picturepage of the passport
life lessons are always a learning experience especially when it comes to money

Make about application and pay 10k again. Once the case is closed, there's nothing u can do and even you were right, the embassy won't refund your application

There is not anything you can do for your rejected application. The positive is you know why you were rejected which helps a lot with your reapplication. Mistakes with names are common, important to triple check after uploading passport info and before submitting that names match.
