I'm trying to use the website of the Thai Consulate in Los Angeles, California to apply for a 90 day Non-O retirement visa. I have questions (eg, why is there no field for middle names? Is this going to result in denial?) And the only way to contact this Consulate is with the Line app but the app link is broken..๐ตโ๐ซ Anyone else having these problems?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is experiencing issues with the Non-O retirement visa application process on the Thai Consulate's website in Los Angeles, specifically regarding the absence of a middle name field which raises concerns about potential application denial. Other users recommend using the official Thai E-Visa website for applications and stress the importance of ensuring that the name matches exactly as it appears in the passport to avoid denial. A personal anecdote highlights a similar issue with middle names leading to a visa denial.

Jim, I had an issue with the middle name at LA Thai Consulate 555. When I applied, it had a place to put my middle name and I used it. My Visa was denied because it did not match my passport. I re-applied adding my middle name in the first name spot (i.e Kevin Middle name) It was approved the next day. Just make sure that it matches how your passport lists your first and middle name. That was an $80 mistake LOL 555.

Like mentioned, use the official site and your name in your passport needs to match the name on your application 100%.

What about the official Thai E-Visa website? That's where you should apply for any type of visa.
