Hi everyone, I need advice regarding a TM30 issue in Thailand. My landlord says the TM30 receipt can no longer be downloaded because my check-in was more than 7 days ago, and she says she cannot pull the record from the system anymore. I need the TM30 document for immigration/re-entry purposes. Has anyone dealt with this before? Can the landlord re-submit a new TM30 online or go to immigration to get a new receipt issued? Any advice would really help 🙏
Answer summary
The user is experiencing issues with obtaining a TM30 receipt for immigration purposes since their landlord claims it can't be downloaded if it's been more than 7 days since the check-in. Responses indicate that the landlord can re-submit a new TM30 online or at the immigration office, and it's clarified that a TM30 is usually not necessary for re-entry. If a TM30 is required for a 90-day report or other immigration contacts, the landlord should provide a new one close to the actual departure date. Various comments affirm that the date on the TM30 does not impact the 90-day calculation and that it's common practice to issue a new TM30 upon re-entry.

If this group is about DTV.

Why are you talking about re entry if the DTV holder doesn't need a re entry permit ?

Or are you talking about another type of Visa. NON-IMMIGRANT

The landlord can re-submit a new TM30. I was at immigration last week and I had a TM30 with me. The immigration officer asked me for a newer copy, a more recent copy. I messaged my agent and she resubmitted there and then and I had it printed off in the immigration office within 10 minutes. It is very easy for a landlord or agent who has access to the system to submit a new TM30. Immigration knows this too. I had not travelled or changed addresses since the older copy was submitted.

okay so you advise applying for a recent one maybe one day before leaving

Anonymous participant Not before leaving because when you come back they've got to do another one. Just have them do it when you return to Thailand.

Anonymous participant You do not need the TM30 to leave or re-enter. If you are doing your 90 day or any other contact with immigration before you leave you need one. If you are having no contact I would just wait till you return.

I’m talking about the TM30 if I’m traveling end of June. Should I ask my landlord to apply for a new one few days before I leave or it’s okay if I get one from this week

I have no idea who filled your mind with that BS. You do not need a tm30 to re-enter, or leave, Thailand. If you are trying to do your 90 day report, and they are asking for a tm30, that means your landlord never filed one. If it is the system then they do not ask for it. If you are trying to get a residency certificate before you've done your 90 day report, then immigration can ask for a tm30, and, your landlord can apply online again. When they apply there is no date when you are checking out, only the date you checked in.

Anonymous participant you do not need a tm30 to apply for a re-entry permit. You can get it at the airport before you fly out. If crossing a landborder then go to immigration and get one. Again you do not need a tm30 to get it

You need it for your 90 day report, but would you need a TM30 for re-entry purposes?

As for the landlord not being able to download it for you because it is beyond 7 days since she filed it, that might be the case. Others may have better insight into that than I, but if you don't plan to leave the country before your 90 day report is due, you might have to take a trip to your immigration office and see if they can pull it for you. If you do plan to leave, the landlord has do to dona new TM30 anyway and at that point he/she can be certain to download and send it to you.

A. Nony Mous update my landlord submitted a request for a new one and she sent it to me but it has entry date of today not when I actually entered

Anonymous participant the new TM30 date will be fine. Don't worry about that. That date on the TM30 is not used to calculate the 90-day report.

Anonieme deelnemer This should not be a problem, the most recent always is valid.

Your landlord is correct that she cannot download older records.
