A question about DTV for a business owner.

Let's say that you are the sole owner of a private company in UK.

So you own all the money from this company but you send every month the money on your personal bank account that only have the money from the month expenses.

In these cases, what you can do?

They say that the money should be in your personal bank account for 3 months in some embassies, did somebody manage to have accepted the money in the company bank account or that the money was sended in the personal bank account before the request of DTV?

I'd like to try to ask in Jakarta or in Phnom Penh soon about the DTV for freelancers, wondering if somebody had the same issue and resolved it.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry involves challenges related to meeting the financial requirements for the DTV visa as a business owner in the UK. The user seeks advice on transferring company funds to a personal account and whether embassies are strict about the three-month seasoning rule for funds. Responses from the community indicate that having the required 500k THB in the personal account is crucial, with some users successfully transferring money from their business accounts before applying, despite different consulates potentially having varying rules. Users recommend contacting the specific embassy for clarification.

I suggest you email the RTE in Jakarta. I got mine from Jakarta but I don't own a business and had used my savings account.

Same as John - applied to Royal Thai Embassy in London; I had money in business account - transferred to personal account to go over the 500k baht threshold and then ordered a statement, which clearly showed the transfer. They didn't care that it was not "seasoned". You can then transfer back to your business account if that's where you need it. Don't know about Jakarta or PP - it appears different embassies have slightly different requirements. Good luck..

My experience with applying via London was that they had no interest in my company accounts it was the required 500k THB equivalent in my personal account
