I am living in Bangkok on a retirement visa. I have tried to apply for my 90 day report online but I keep getting rejected. No reason given and I have tried a number of times.

Also, am I required to provide a TM30 for my third 90 day report if I attend in person? I don’t see any information that says you do?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is experiencing repeated rejections when trying to submit their 90-day report online while living in Bangkok on a retirement visa. They question the necessity of the TM30 form for their third 90-day report when attending in person, as they have found conflicting information about this requirement. Community responses suggest that while a TM30 receipt isn't mandatory for in-person submissions, it may help in identifying issues with online submissions. It is noted that the TM30 system ties in with the 90-day report system, and address mismatches could lead to rejections. Regular updates to the TM30 are advisable to avoid complications.

Simpler to pay the 2000 baht fine on renewal of visa I'm starting to think?

Do you mean, not do any of the 90 day reports for the duration of your extension? Then you can just pay a 2,000 baht fine & get a new extension?

The 90 day report system is linked in with the TM30 system. Depending on the office your report gets sent to it could be rejected as an “address mismatch”. Many people say that “I’ve been here for X years and have never changed address”. That could be true but the TM30 system always has your latest filing and that could be the issue. If you’ve stayed in a hotel for a night the hotel would have filed a TM30 for you that supersedes your home address, a night in a hospital would do the same.

Some offices don’t care and will see the previous filing of your actual address and accept the 90 day report. Others will reference the last filing and if it differs from what you submitted on your 90 day report will reject it.

To mitigate the chances of a rejection then always make sure you do a “fresh” TM30 filing before you file your 90 day report.

My last 90 day online report got rejected. I had to do it in person. They told me my TM30 wasn't up to date (seeing as I hadn't done one in a number of years). They still allowed the 90 day report but told me I needed the TM30 done for next time. (@ Bangkok imm)

The TM30 is on a new system now so you must be on the old one

A TM30 receipt is not mandatory in Bangkok when you submit 90-day report in person.

But bringing current TM30 receipt can help you to check what's the problem to report online.

You need: your passport, the last 90-day report receipt if you haven't left Thailand since then, TM6 if you have. Fill TM.47 form there.

@Ellie ******
also the online application doesn’t require a TM30 so I’m not sure what you mean ?
Ellie *******
because 90 days reporting online system checks your address with your TM30 record.
