Do I need to report in-person for the 90-day notification after every re-entry to Thailand?

I am having an issue with my online 90 day report being rejected. I have previously not had an issue with the system, but today I got this message "Your application for "STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS" has been rejected.

For first-time requests of a 90-day notification in each country visit, in-person presentation at the immigration office is required."

Does this mean I have to go in person for a 90 day report for the first report after every time I re-enter the country? I was under the impression it was just for the very first report you file and all others can be done online, not the first report after every re-entry. Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is experiencing issues with their online 90-day report being rejected and seeks clarification on the requirement for in-person reporting after re-entering Thailand. According to community responses, the requirement is that first-time 90-day notifications after each re-entry must be done in person at an immigration office, following changes in rules enacted in May. The responses confirm that visiting the immigration office is necessary after traveling outside Thailand.

Yes,it's a pain in the butt now each time i travel,but the only way to resolve it with a trip to immigration. I feel for those who don't have a local immigration centre.😥

And it was approved? May want to verify online it wasn't rejected to avoid potential fines. Sounds like this is a new policy that rolled out in May.

I have a multi entry Non O visa (Spouse). Do I have to still report somewhere when I come back to Thailand, or am I just granted another 90 days upon return?

@Giacomo *****
You only have to report if you stay in Thailand for more than 90 consecutive days. The report is due 90 days after your entry. Every time you leave it resets.

@Chris *******
great, thank you, then I understand now.

@Giacomo *****
You cannot be in Thailand more than 90 days with your visa, so there is no reporting required.

If you're talking about the TM30, then that's a legal requirement for all property owners in Thailand to report within 24 hours of a foreigner arriving at the property.
