What should I do if my online application for the 90-day notification of residence is rejected after a Non-O Visa extension based on Retirement?

I just got an extension of my Non-O Visa based on Retirement until December 31, 2022.  It was issued to me on 14 December 2021.

In the evening of the same date, I then applied online for the 90 day notification of residence (my reporting date is 28 December). 

Today, I got an auto generated response:

Your application for "STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS" has been rejected.

This is the first time that my application is rejected.  Anybody has experienced the same especially now that they  are doing .some system maintenance.  Any advice?  

1. Should i re apply online?

2.  Should i go ahead and apply in person (oh no!   Long trip again.)

I've been on yearly extensions for 4 years. Online reporting hasn't worked for me the last 2 years, even though I've reported in person 8 times since.. if you get denied, just go in person.

90 day report should be 9p days from when the 1 year extension was issued.

I dont know as actually never done a 90 day, but think it maybe reset on 14tb december when you got the extension
