Hello all.

First time 90 day reporting. We forgot all about it. (Oops) we have booked a trip to koh phangang.

Leaving Chiang Mai tomorrow. But 90 day reporting due on 26 April. What are my choices here?

Can you please tell me:

1) Can I do my 90 day reporting today ( or early tomorrow morning) in Chiang Mai?

2) Can I do it on koh phangang?

3) Can I do it when I get back on 5 May?

Thank you for your advice. Feeling a bit silly right now.

Rachel.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Rachel is seeking advice regarding her 90-day reporting requirements in Thailand, as she forgot the deadline while planning a trip to Koh Phangan. She inquires if she can report early in Chiang Mai, when she's in Koh Phangan, or when she returns on May 5. Responses clarify that she can report in person between 15 days before and 7 days after the due date, can use online reporting, and warns about possible delays with online submissions.

Be aware, IF you get denied online, it could take up to about 5days so you might be already on a trip, resulting in you having to go to IO late and pay a fine.

I don't know how the bet is. Just stating the fact. The choice is yours.

The input fields on some of these online forms are wonky. When I lived in China I had to input my name into the relevant fields, and failed every time. Finally, I typed in full caps and everything worked. As the other person noted, play around with it till it works.

fool around with how you write the address, I was rejected 4 times and finally got it approved

You report your first time that you are 90 days inside Thailand in person between 15 days before until 7 days after due date.

You report your stay at the Immigration Office where your address is registered.

@Robert ******
thank you.

What happens if I come late on the 5 May? Do I get an overstay stamp? Or just pay a fine? Or other?
Robert *******
@Rachel *****
If you report late the fine is 2.000 Thb. No overstay stamp as it has nothing to do with overstay of your visa or extension.
