Hello :-)

I work for a company and did the non immigrant B visa (work visa). (visa till end of January)

Now I don't like the employer anymore and would like to just take a vacation here for the next 4 months or also a visa with a work permit and my own company.

what options do i have?

Answer summary

The user is currently on a Non-Immigrant B visa for work but wants to change employers or take a vacation for the next four months. Comments suggest options including obtaining a COVID extension for 60 days or switching to a tourist visa for a potential total of 97 days. The user also inquired about the possibility of transferring their work permit to another company if their visa expires.

For vacation, all you can do is get the "covid extension" for 60 days and hope it continues past Jan 25th and get a further 60. Otherwise it's leave the country and come back in on a tourist visa, which is 60 days, extendable a further 30 and then a further 7, giving you 97 days.
