Hi everyone,

I have a non B with work permit which ends 31 March.

i did my 90 day reporting on the 16 of February and its given me the next report date in May.

My work permit also ends on the 31 March.

Is it possible to get extension on my current visa?

or do i leave the country and apply for a 60 day visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has a Non-B visa and work permit expiring on March 31 and is seeking advice on extending their visa or opting for a 60-day tourist visa. Comments emphasize the importance of coordinating with their employer and the immigration office for a visa extension, as well as the proper procedure for canceling their current work permit before leaving the country for a new visa.

Remember if you are going to leave the country and apply for a 60 day tourist visa you need to go to the Ministry of Labour and cancel your work permit, THEN take that and your termination paperwork to the immgiration office and officially cancel your Non-B extension.

THEN you can stamp out and go get a different visa. Remember just stamping out of the country does NOT officially cancel an extension at the immigration office and IF you're ever going to work here in thailand again it can cause you problems (and fines) down the road. Believe me GO cancel the extension you're on before you leave to get a new visa.

Let's get your 90 day reporting out of the equation because it doesn't mean anything at all okay?

Whether you can get a new yearly extension is between you and your employer and the immigration office (as far as whether you can supply the correct documentation to apply for it)
