Hey all, hope there is on here there can help me find a answer to what to do.
I'm in that situation that I was on a non b visa with work permit, the place I worked closed down, don't have the work permit anymore, but have been staying here on my Non B visa, but it will expire here in the ending of march, I really want to stay here now I found an amazing girlfriend, but how can I make that possible?
Can I extend my stay with a turist visa and hope I can find a job in that period, ore are there other things I can do, hope there is someone there can help me find a answer.
Thank you so much in advance!
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on how to stay in Thailand after losing their job and work permit while on a Non-B visa, which is set to expire soon. The community suggests looking into a 60-day COVID extension and offers alternative visas, such as a volunteer visa and retirement options if eligible. It’s noted that the Non-B visa is linked to employment, and guidance is provided on required actions regarding the termination paperwork and visa status. Users encourage the person to find a new job promptly before the visa expires.
