What should I do if I can't submit my 90-day report before my passport renewal?

Hello, I have a question on the 90 day report. I have to send my passport off for renewal as it expires in July, and it should take about a month which means I should get it back on around the 5th June. My 90 day report is due on the 9th June, and then I know I have 7 days after this to report without a fine. But if I don't get my new passport before then, what would the fine be? Does anyone have any experiences with this?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the procedure for their 90-day report given their passport is being renewed and will not be available by the reporting deadline. They seek information on potential fines for late reporting and any alternatives such as online or postal submissions. Comments provide insights, suggesting checking for online reporting options, that failing to report could incur a fine of 2,000 THB, and the possibility of using previous reporting slips as proof.

Couldn't she just go in with the previous 90day report slip from her passport and maybe some copies of her ID page and current permission to stay stamp and her replace passport story? Surely they don't physically absolutely need the passport?

Or another thought..

Is it your first 90days report? If not, you may be able to report online. If this is your first one (or if you want), check with your local immigration office if they accept 90days report by post, then you can send the report documents by EMS at least 15days BEFORE your 90days report due date. You need passport information and copies for these two methods of reporting, but you don't need your original passport in hand.

If you do not submit your 90 day report, you will be fined 2K THB. The fine will be paid the next time you must submit a 90 day report.
