After reading about it can I leave my 90 day report till I renew my visa? I'm currently about 7 and a half hours away and they want me to travel there to report because I missed the online date. I usually get an email reminder but didn't this time.

TLDR : Answer Summary
In Thailand, you can delay your 90-day report until you apply for your visa renewal, as long as you are within the 7 days after the report's due date. However, if you are more than 7 days late, you will incur a fine of 2000 baht, which remains the same regardless of how many days late you are. It's important to note that reminders for filing the report are no longer sent via email, so you should keep track of your reporting dates yourself.

Okay this turned into a train wreck (after Lloyd and others gave the correct answer)

After you've filed your first 90 day report in person, to use the 90 day report online web-portal you have from 2 weeks before the due date to 1 week before the due date to apply.

As a rule they do not send out emails anymore (so you have to count to 90 yourself ๐Ÿ˜ฎ )

You have from 2 weeks before the due date to 1 week AFTER the due date to apply in person.

BUT

once you're more than 7 days late the fine is 2000baht, and it stays 2000baht whether you're 8 days late or 8 MONTHS late.

IF you're okay with getting the 2000baht failure to file on time fine, then just wait and file a late 90 day report when you go to that office to apply for your yearly extension

Good luck to the O/P, we are done (y)

Just pay the 2000 baht fine

That all depends if your extension falls within the 15 before/7 after timeframe. If not, then expect a 2000 fine.

I'm within the 7 day after timeframe but don't really want to make a 16 hour round trip.

yeah. I'm aware of the fine. Don't mind paying it. Better than travelling 16 hours and paying for petrol and a hotel. My main concern is any problems I might have if I don't do it.

There are people who never do a 90-day report and just accept the annual 2000 baht fine as a cost of convenience.
