Good evening,

About the required evidence regarding ones resident when applying for extension on a non immigrant type o spouse visa.

Drawing a map, pictures, visits, bringing a neighbor etc. Do they still ask this of you if you bring a chanot with your name as the owner of the condo?

Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for an extension on a Non-Immigrant O spouse visa in Thailand, there are specific residency evidence requirements. These may include drawings or printed maps of your immediate area, photographs showing you and your residence, and proof of ownership, like a chanot. The requirements can vary depending on the local immigration office; some may accept hand-drawn maps while others prefer printed maps. It's also advised to include your house number and GPS coordinates.

In Bangkok the map doesn't have to show anything but your immediate area.

Reading post on this page: In Bangkok it must now be hand drawn, it all depends on where you apply if they accept Google print out or hand made.

Most immigration offices will NOT accept a google map print out and instead they want you to hand draw it
