What documents can I provide to prove ownership of my apartment for a visa application in Thailand?

Morning everyone. I'm just applying for a visa and i used my blue book for the apartment I own when I submitted the application as proof of accommodation. They just called me and said that the blue book is not proof but they couldn't advise me what is proof - they asked if I had some other document that said I own it. How do I prove I own the apartment to the consulate apart from the blue book? Has anyone had / solved this issue? Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a visa in Thailand, if the blue book (which provides residential information) is not accepted as proof of property ownership, you should provide a copy of the chanote (title deed). The chanote is the official documentation that confirms ownership and should have your name listed on it in Thai. If you are a foreign owner, be aware that you may only have a blue book, which does not suffice for proving ownership.

Thank you everyone for your responses and help. I really appreciate it. I will send them a copy of the chanote.

You use the paper that has the diagram of the room on it.

It's called a โฉนด "chanote" (title deed)

Looks like this

That's what has your name on it

At which Thai Consulate did you apply for a Visa? Never heard of the requirement that you need to own property in Thailand to apply for a visa.

Foreigners should have a yellow book, not blue

believe me MOST foreigners who buy condos here have never gotten the yellow house book and few even know what it is

They usually only have a blank blue book :O <- that's because foreigners (as a general rule) can't be listed in a blue house book book.

Blue book aren't ownership papers. You will have a Title deed

They are probably referring to the title deed or Chanote as that’s the real proof of ownership.

it should have your name if you’re the one who bought it. But the name will be in Thai.

I see. Thanks heaps! I thought it was the blue book. Next time I'll have to take that then. Does that have your name on it?
