Good morning

I currently live in Chiang Mai on a Non O with yearly extension, if I relocate to say Hua Hin would the renewal process and 90day reports be straight forward or would I have to go through extra processes?

Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you relocate from Chiang Mai to Hua Hin while on a Non O visa with a yearly extension, you will need to complete a TM28 form to notify immigration of your new address. Your landlord must also file a TM30 with immigration, showing your registration at the new location. After completing these steps, you can continue with your 90-day reporting and obtain your yearly extension at the Hua Hin immigration office.

I did exactly that move ... CM to HH on a non O. Immigration here told me I had to complete a TM28 and get a TM30 .... that was maybe 6 months ago. The TM28 is easy to do and you can do it a Bluport or the main Immigration.

Once you move, you out your land lord file a TM 30 with immigrations, showing you're registered as staying in an area served by that office.

Then you can do your 90 day reporting thru that office and get your year extension the following year when it comes due.
