Been sick as a dog for nearly 3 weeks I have a non imm O visa, my 90 day report is in due in 2 days do I need to go back to Savannakhet Loas to report or can I go to my local immigration office. I was told by a local expat I can't do my first report on line. My Thai wife filled out her TM30 already. In Yasothon province. Thanks for any help

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, holding a Non-O visa and having recently been ill, inquires about the process for their upcoming 90-day report due in Yasothon, Thailand. They wonder if they must return to Savannakhet, Laos, for reporting or if they can complete it at their local immigration office. Responses clarify that the user can report at their local office in Yasothon, instead of going back to Laos, as long as their TM30 has been filed. Additionally, there is discussion about the type of visa held and the options available for extending their stay.

l You do indeed have a year-long, multi-entry Non-O VISA from the thai consulate in Savannakhet Lao

With that visa you bounce out and back every 90 days to get a new entry stamp

SO you either bounce out and back on or before your current 90 day stamp runs out

OR

You go to your immigration office to see if you can get the 60 day visit thai family extension for 1900baht

Those are the two choices you have sir.. Sincerely good luck with it (y)

, do you mean you have a Non-O visa sticker valid for 1 year from Thai embassy/consulate outside Thailand on your passport? Or you have 1-year extension stamp from the immigration office with multiple re-entry permit stamp?

It is all in the name.

With a Non Imm O visa you only get 90 days of stay inside the Kingdom and have to leave to obain a new 90 day period of the visa is multiple entry OR apply for a new visa.

BUT if you got this visa, entered Thailand and visited the Immigration Office to get a new big stamp with the text:

"Extension of Stay permitted up to xx/xx/xx" which is valid for 1 year, you have to report that you are 90 days inside the Kingdom.

Please look in your passport and tell us which one you have OR just show us a picture without any personal details to help you out correctly.

IF it is the big stamp Extension of Stay, you can use this on line system

You do your 90 day reports at the immigration office that has your TM30 on file, so yours would presumably be the Yasothon office. However, you say you have a VISA, is that one you got in Laos? A single or multi entry? Or do you have an annual extension of stay that you got at immigration inside Thailand
