I booked my ticket to go to Thailand for 32 days. When it was the 45 day visa now it’s gone back to 30 days can I still fly and get through immigration and get a extension during my stay?
Been trying to get hold of the Thai embassy in London but impossible. And so many people have given me different answers. I’m little bit worried I will get refused entry. grateful for any advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about entering Thailand for 32 days amid recent changes to visa policies, specifically the reduction from 45 days to 30 days for visa-exempt entries. Responses advise confirming airline policies regarding proof of exit tickets, potential overstay fines, and suggest options for obtaining a 60-day e-visa or extending the current stay with a local immigration office.

You can either pay the overstay fine ฿500 per day…..or….go to your local immigration office and pay ฿1,900 for a 30 day extension…if in Bangkok you can do it the save day as you land as long as you land when immigration is open and you can make it there before it closes…good luck
Just get a 60 day e visa before you fly, if not you will need to get an extension to your visa exempt entry stamp can use an agent or stand in a queue all day. Wouldn’t do nothing and pay the over stay fine can cause problems in the future. Airline will be fine as you have a return flight booked in my experience
You get in to Thailand fine but when you are leaving Thailand at customs you have to pay 500baht a day over stay. So for 2 days you have to pay 1000baht
immigration customs check to see how long you stayed in Thailand before they stamp your visa they see you have over stayed and you pay a fine that what happened to us
is that really all it is mate. That sounds to easy. Some people are saying Eva won’t let me fly or imagration will see the return flight and stop me because it’s over 30 days.
Passport control at the airport won't even ask to see your flight out of Thailand.
Who you need to be calling is your airline. They might not let you checkin to your flight without being able to show a ticket out of Thailand within 30 days so you need to find out their policy.
guess you'll find out when you arrive. Google "onward travel ticket" and familiarize yourself with one of them so you can rent a plane ticket on short notice if you need to
