What is the validity period of my wife's Non O visa upon her arrival in Thailand and when can she apply for an extension?

I've been given so much invaluable info here, thought I'd ask for some more: I recently returned from overseas and got my Non O retirement and extension once again. My wife, who is a Philippine national, piggybacks off of my visa, but needed to get her Non O from out of country (we both originally came in on 30 day entries). So she went back to the Philippines, I got my visa, and we've now got all the docs necessary for her to get her initial Non 0 for 90 days. My question is this, once she is given a Non O, will the end date of that 90 day visa be 90 days from when we arrive in Thailand and she gets stamped, or will it be 90 days from when she is given the visa? I then also presume that she won't be able to go into CW immigration and get a year extension until within 45 days of whatever date they've stamped on her Non O (for my extension I was told I could do it within 45 days, not 30 of the end of the visa stamp date)....thanks again for everyone's advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 90-day validity of your wife's Non O visa will begin from her date of arrival in Thailand, not from when she is issued the visa. You will be able to apply for her one-year extension at least 45 days before the expiration of her 90-day visa.

The counting of 90 days starts on the date of her arrival. At least 45 days before her period of stay expires, you may apply for 1 year extension.

Slightly confused with the terminology of "we", I'm assuming you mean she and that you are already on an annual extension as that's normally the requirement for the trailing spouse Non-O. If so she will get stamped in for 90 days on arrival and when she goes to extend the extension will be aligned with your extension.

, we both arrived on 30 day entries. She left after 30 days, I was eligible to change my 30 day to a 3 month Non O. After 45 days, I returned to immigration and received a one year extension. She was on a trailing spouse visa when we were here 5 years ago, so we've had to start the process from scratch. I'm assuming she will be given the initial 3 month Non O at the Thai Embassy in Manila. We will apply for the visa there on December 8, but not return to Thailand until the 31st, so I am presuming that her 3 month Non O will get a March 30, 2023 date stamped on it. Only reason I'm asking is to try and figure out when the extension application dates will be in case we want to travel (meaning I assume the one year extension will be applied for within 30 days of March 30). I believe you are 100% correct that when she does get the extension, it will be aligned to Dec 25, 2023, my date of expiry.

We are pleased with helping you with your Thai Visa Advice questions...

If your wife obtains the Non O Visa as Married... She will be stamped in 90 days on arrival into Thailand.

And you are correct...

IF using CW Thai immigration office in Bangkok, she can visit it within 45 days from the ending date of her stamped in date received on arrival into Thailand.
