Hi all
I applied for my first extension of stay based on being married to Thai natinal at Khon Kaen immigration on 8.1.2020 - my single non o m 90 day visa was due to expire on 27.1.2020 so I went early to ensure plenty of time to resolve any issues raised.
The IO was professional and efficient and all documentation was accepted - we were given an under consideration stamp dated until 26.2.2020 and told to come back on that date.
In the meantime the investigation dept would conduct a home visit and we would have to bring 2 witnesses to KK Imm to be interviewed.
The investigation dept has reiterated that we need to return on 26.2.2020 - is this not a period of 48 days of consideration and gives no time to resolve any issues on 26.2.2020 -
Please could you confirm my understanding of the 30 day consideration period?
Many Thanks
