Hello. After searching and searching, I have found multiple conflicting answers. I understand the prerequisites of having valid days left on stamps/ bank account in my name etc/ and that local offices do some things differently....
Please can I have a definitive answer to the following questions:
To obtain an initial Non O based on marriage INSIDE the country, does the 400,000 thb need to be seasoned?
To obtain the year long extension of stay from said Non O based on marriage obtained from INSIDE the country, does the 400,000 thb need to be seasoned?
Thankyou in advance for your help.
TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain an initial Non O visa based on marriage inside Thailand, seasoned funds are not required if you are converting from a Visa Exempt Entry or Tourist Visa. However, for an extension of stay from a Non O based on marriage, you may need to have 400,000 THB seasoned in your account for at least two months prior to application.
