I applied for the METV September 27th through Royal Thai Embassy Washington DC. 

It has been almost 3 weeks and still says pending document check from the beginning no status change. 

My trip is 11 days getting nervous...

Has anyone had any recent experience through this Embassy that can share a processing time ?

METV is usually granted as close to your fly out date as possible to maximise the validity of the visa. It’s 6 months start at the time it’s granted, not the time you enter.

I would reach out and message them through fb, i go through NY and they say to apply 1

Usually it says right on the visa page how far in advance they suggest applying
