Hello! I'm currently in Phi Phi. Arrived from USA with Visa stamp. Revived 30 day extension in Phuket which ends on December 14th. We’re planning on applying for a Covid extension in Krabi. And I’ve read and saved a lot of helpful posts about the process and documents needed.
My questions are :
- is there a specific office in Krabi we need to go to?
- Has anyone received their extension from Krabi and can share their experience?
- what specifically should I write in the area that asks for ypur reason for requesting extension of stay?
- we plan to go to the immigration office on the 25th the same day we arrive in Krabi (before we go to the hotel we’re staying at) will this be enough time? (I’ve asked the hotel to file the TM30 on our behalf but haven’t received a response)
- anything else that I should know?
Thank you all so much for this group and all of your helpful advice! :)

A user in Phi Phi, Thailand, seeks advice on applying for a Covid-related visa extension at the immigration office in Krabi. They discuss their current situation, mention a prior extension received in Phuket, and ask about the necessary documents, local offices, and experiences from others in Krabi. They also express concern about the timing of their visit to the immigration office and potential issues with TM30 compliance.
