Has anyone done the DTV visa with their spouse who was of a different nationality and needing to do the dependent DTV visa?
Can you share your experience and if there was anything out of the ordinary in your experience?
For proof of funds, did your spouse's account also have to have 500k or could you use your own since they are a dependent?
Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
Several users shared their experiences regarding obtaining a DTV visa while one spouse was of a different nationality. One user, a Singaporean, obtained their DTV visa in four days and detailed the process for their American spouse, who applied shortly after and was also approved in the same timeframe. They mentioned the requirement of having at least 500,000 baht in their accounts and recommended showing bank account screenshots during the application to avoid delays. Additionally, a user inquired about the rules surrounding joint bank accounts.
I have, in Jakarta. I am Singaporean and spouse is American. I applied first, got the DTV in 4 days, then came to Thailand to get the DTV stamp in my passport, and my spouse then went to Jakarta to apply, was approved in 4 days too. We both had >500K baht in our accounts and he showed screenshots of both accounts on the day of application as we didn’t want to delay his dependent’s DTV with questions or need for further documents. This was in Jan/Feb so maybe things have gotten stricter but I’m an over-preparer and did not want to chance a rejection or delay for either of us so I over-funded my spouse’s bank account.
