Hi! If you are apply for DTV with spouse visa, can you use a joint bank account for proof of 500,000bht?

I think I understand it correctly that we need 500,000bht each? If so, could we submit with 1M bht in one joint account?

Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can use a joint bank account to meet the 500,000 THB financial requirement for the DTV spouse visa application in Thailand, provided the total in the account is at least 1 million THB. Various experiences from other applicants, including a submission at the Vancouver consulate, indicate that this method is acceptable, especially if you include a cover letter explaining the arrangement.

Yes it should be okay, just include a brief cover letter explaining your plan to have your spouse apply after and the names on the joint account.
