Hi Everyone. Thanks so much for help. Can I confirm if I am applying for a DTV (from Australia) as the main applicant and include my Wife as a spouse it appears we need to show a supporting bank balance of 500,000 THB each. Can the combined amount (1,000,000 THB) be in a joint bank account (me & my Wife's name) or do we need to have 500,000 THB in 2 separate bank accounts in our individual names?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The main applicant for a DTV visa can use a joint bank account with their spouse to meet the financial requirement. It is sufficient to show a combined balance of 1,000,000 THB as long as 500,000 THB is in one account for the main applicant. Once the main applicant's visa is approved, a separate application can be made for the spouse.

I queried this and they said you don’t need to show 2 x 500,000 THB. You need to apply for yours first showing the 500k and then once that’s approved do a seperate application for your wife or kids, it’s fine to show the same account. Though I haven’t done my application yet as I’m still in Thailand
