Do dependents applying for a DTV visa in Manila need to show separate bank statements or can they rely on the primary applicant's bank statement?

Has anyone submitted a DTV visa application with dependents in Manila? I received an email outlining the requirements, but I’m unsure if dependents need to show 500,000 THB in their own bank accounts or if they can rely on the primary applicant’s bank statement to meet this requirement.

Here’s what the email states

• “Bank Certification/Bank Statements from the last 3 months (Minimum of 500,000 THB per applicant)”

• “If applicants will be applying as the dependent of the Primary DTV Holder, we will need a Bank Certification or Bank Statements that will meet the minimum amount required as mentioned above.”

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion focuses on the requirements for dependents applying for a DTV visa in Manila, specifically whether they need to show their own bank statements with 500,000 THB or if the primary applicant's bank statement suffices. Comments suggest that it is logical for dependents to show their own funds, but experiences vary by embassy, and some users recommend contacting the embassy for clarification.

Minimum of 500K per applicant sounds like each applicant needs to show 500K, which also is logical.

But I read stories some embassies don't ask
