Hi,
I'm getting ready to apply for the 60 day extension unable to travel due to covid and have a question about this requirement:
A TM30, filed at the immigration office.
I'm staying in short term accommodation and asked for a copy of the TM30 before checking in. They just sent me a screen cap that shows they filed it online within 24 hours. Is there anything I can do with this now?
Also, is: "I don't want to fly during this covid outbeak" a valid reason if they ask why I want to extend?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the requirements for a 60-day visa extension in Thailand due to not being able to travel during the COVID-19 pandemic. They have received a screenshot from their accommodation confirming that a TM30 has been filed online, and they seek clarification on whether this is sufficient. Additionally, they question if the reason of not wanting to fly during the pandemic is valid for their extension application. Comments provide details on acceptable reasons for extension and confirm that the TM30 screenshot is typically acceptable.
