What reasons for visa extension are accepted when applying for a TM7 in Thailand?

Hi I’m from Singapore, currently in Thailand, Chanthaburi, on a 60 day Tourist Visa, came in on 26 May. My visa ends on 24 July.

I enquire at Chanthaburi Immigration stated that the 60 Covid Extension is only applicable when I have used my normal 30 day visa extension. So I would need to apply for 30 days first then if by the time 60 days covid extension is still available, then I’m able to apply for it.

I’ve gotten hold on TM7 and TM30 which I need to submit upon extension of visa.

TM 7 requires me to state my reason of extension. What reasons would normally be accepted?

On the TM7, you would write "30 day extension of stay based on tourism"
