Hi All. After 3 very long weeks in the Philippines I finally got my 5 year DTV and I have just arrived back in Phuket - immigration was easy, no interview of anything, just the 180 day stamp. So my next question is 90 day reporting if anyone would kindly tell me what this is in practice6 terms i.e. when to go before 90 days, where to go (an office, online or something else) and what do I need to provide for example some kind of proof of residence like a hotel booking or rental agreement/letter from the landlord. Thanks
Answer summary
When reporting for the 90-day visa requirement in Thailand, you need to visit your local immigration office between 15 days prior to and 7 days after the 90-day period ends. Bring your passport, a signed copy of your passport bio page and entry stamp, as well as proof of residence, such as a TM30 form from your landlord. Prepare to fill out a TM-47 form at the immigration office, submit it, and wait for your turn, which usually takes about 30 minutes. It’s advisable to do this on the due date if possible, especially if you plan on border hopping around the 180-day mark.

You go 7 to 10 days before the 90 days are over to the immigration office. AND ASK THERE. Her you only get idiotic comments.

Leonard Sharps Unrelated question for you… Did the embassy in Manila require the funds be in a Philippines bank? That’s my main reason not to apply there when the time comes. I believe that is a requirement specifically for those with a PH resident visa, so it may not apply to you.

no. 180 days starts when you re enter and a week before your 90 days finishes is roughly when to do reporting

Ask landlord for copy of Tm30.

Also prepare: passport, signed copies of passport bio page and entry stamp page plus a pen. Head to immigration office. Go to information desk. Take 90 days form, fill it out, hand in and wait to be called. Should take about 30 mins or less in total. On future 90 days reports at the same office you won't have to fill out that form anymore.

Anonymous participant 726 perfect. Yes my landlord has offered a tm30 but I might be flying back to England a week or two before the 90 day period.

Make sure a tm30 has been filed by your landlord where you live, go to your immigration office anytime from 15 days before till 7 days after the due date preferably on the due date and fill in a tm-47, hand it over along with your passport, tada

1st 90 day report cannot be done online. And if you are on DTV and border bounce every 180 days, every 90 day report will be the 1st one

This is so easy to do, absolutely do not need an agent. Just go to your local immigration office, fill in and submit a form and wait for your queue. Can go up to 15 days before your 90 days is full or up to 7 days after. But if you plan to border bounce at around the 180 day mark, it would be wise not to go too early, so that you would not have to do a 2nd report before leaving the country
