My apologies if this has been covered, but I just want to be clear on a few things:
I just arrived on DTV a few weeks ago and stamped in for 180 days. I now have a 1 year condo lease in BKK.
I would like to visit Japan right around the 90 day mark for a week or so. How does that affect my 90 day reporting and my 180 day? This would be my first 90 day report and I will have a TM30 this week from landlord.
Should I carry all the DTV docs with me?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the question of how traveling to Japan while on a DTV visa impacts the 90-day report and 180-day stay requirements in Thailand. It is clarified that if you leave Thailand before the 90-day mark, you do not need to file a 90-day report; upon re-entry, you receive a new 180 days. Additionally, it is advised to get the landlord to resubmit the TM30 upon returning and to carry digital copies of DTV documents when traveling.

DTV_Begpacker you say the first 90 day report must be in person. But isn’t it the only 90 day report? Because the next one will be on another entry and it will be your first again. Right? With my comment I’m assuming you go out every 180 days.
