What are the rules for reporting my arrival in Thailand with an O-A visa?

Yesterday I got my O-A visa in Israel.

I live in a condo in Bangkok.

I could not get answers from the Tel-Aviv Embassy so I would like to ask some questions:

1. Do I have to report of my arrival to CW within 24 hours of arriving in Thailand? (I was told at the embassy that I must report only after 90 days)

2. I arrive Friday afternoon, is it possible to report during the weekend?

If not, is it alright to report on the following Monday morning?

3. If I leave Thailand within a few days after arrival, could it cause a problem when I return? (Do I need to take some action before leaving? Because my visa is multiple.)

Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the reporting requirements for their O-A visa upon arrival in Thailand, specifically whether a report to the immigration office is needed within 24 hours, what to do if they arrive on a weekend, and whether leaving Thailand shortly after arrival could affect future entries. Responses clarified that a report is necessary within 24 hours; it is acceptable to report on the following Monday if arriving on a Friday. Additionally, it was noted that as the visa is multi-entry, travel plans within a few days of arrival will not create issues, though registering a TM30 form is essential to notify immigration of their residential address.

So, if he (poster) wanted to avoid rushing to immigration within 24 hrs of his arrival in Thailand, he could simply book a hotel room for a day or two until it was more convenient for him, given that the hotels would do the TM30 for him for those nights. Do I got that correct-o-mundo?

if you manage to fly all the way into Thailand to buy a condo, yes, to register for an online report is a walk in the park

yeah, that b/s book a hotel ruse isn't cutting any ice with immigrations anymore..

If the (poster) is the owner of this condo, then he does not have to rush. He could register himself on line to use the on line system for this report. He could even have downloaded the app for his Apple mobile or Android mobile device and by using these online method or apps, this whole procedure take a few minutes. If he rents the place, he can tell his landlord to do this for him.

As I've said before re TM 30 check at your immigration office what they require. I got so confused re the rights and wrongs of this so I went to my immigration office to be told even after leaving Thailand if I return to my normal place of residencies Thai I don't need to report. My friend who lives in another province was told the same, now a new office has opened nearer to my house here so I checked again same answer but best to check

In Bangkok I can say with 100% certainty that they want you to file a new TM30 every time you re-enter the country AND if you stayed somewhere in another province (that filed a TM30 on you when you stayed there).

Thank you all

You should go file a TM30 out at the immigration office in Bangkok (that has NOTHING to do with a 90 day report) and is a notification that you are staying at your address. You can type TM30 into the search bar of the group and you can get information on how it is done.

Each time you get stamped for 365 days. If you time it right and enter just before it expires you get another 365 days. The second year is not multiple entry so you’d need to buy a re-entry visa. 1000 baht single or 3,800 baht multiple.

he just got here on the visa and is trying to sort out what his next steps are.

While I know you mean well with the advice of him staying here the second year after the visa runs out, let's get him THRU this first year. ;)

A 90 day report is filed 89 days after you stamp into the country. It is a multi-entry visa so you can come and go all you want for the validity of the visa and you should be stamped in for a year every entry. (CHECK your entry stamp to make sure you got stamped in for a year.)

You need to report within 24 hours or when the immigration office opens following a weekend or holiday. You can come and go as many times as you like with that visa.
