I recently graduated from Chulalongkorn University and want to apply for the Non-Ed Plus Visa. Can anyone share the process for getting a 1-year extension and the documents required?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A recent graduate from Chulalongkorn University is looking to apply for the Non-Ed Plus Visa and seek guidance on the application process and necessary documentation for a one-year extension. Discussions highlight the need to check with the university and immigration office before canceling the current educational visa, especially since the Non-Ed Plus option has recently become available.

Has anyone received any updates regarding the Non-ED plus visa?
I’m in a bit of predicament, as my ED visa expires at the end of the month and I have to choose between doing a border run and the ED plus visa (being more ideal).
Went to immigration and was told due to my visa being cancelled on the 10th and the new rules being effective from the 15th I can’t apply (irrespective of meeting all the requirements etc).
A bit surreal and unfortunate.. 😅 my studies end the 31st of July tho. Tried explaining it to no avail…
thank you for getting back to me Tod. I’ll find out today if this applies to both “private and government” Uni’s. Im in talks with the institution I studied at whether or not it’s possible. I’ll go to immigration today to find out either way, thank you 🙏
and you're a graduate from a real university with a degree?
You need to talk to the uni you're enrolled in and see how dialed in they are with the new program and go talk to the immigration office where you got your extension

Before you cancel your current extension of stay based on education you need to talk to your uni and/or go out to the immigration office and ask them about it
I would wager NO ONE has any info on it seeing as it only became an extension option two days ago
