TLDR : Answer Summary
There is an online registration system for landlords in Thailand to register tenants, which generates a TM30 form that can be used for immigration purposes, particularly for obtaining a residence certificate. The official registration site can be accessed at [https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn24online/](https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn24online/). Additionally, there is a mobile app connected to this system, but it may not be available in all app stores. Users typically receive a screenshot of the registration confirmation, which can be accepted by some immigration offices, although others may require a paper receipt from the TM30 form.
I think there is. I remember, because 4 years ago people constantly complained it didn't work. Then I stopped hearing about it. So, I assume it works now.
There is no “receipt” from either the website registration or app filing. All you can do is a screenshot of it being done. For most offices that will suffice as proof. For Chiang Mai and Jomtien it won’t and they’ll want you to convert that to a paper receipt from the TM30 form. No idea why. TIT.
yep in my experience I still had to line up to get the slip when I needed an extension. Even tho TM30 had been done online. Meant I had to come back a second day (Jomtien).. total pain in the backside
Never struck that. I did my registration online in Bangkok with just the landlord's ID. Showed a couple of buddies how to do it, and it worked for them too. One of the advantages of living in Bangkok I guess!
