TLDR : Answer Summary
The procedure to notify immigration of a new address in Thailand, specifically regarding the TM30 form, can be done online or in person. To file online, one must apply through the official immigration website, where an application is assessed, and a login credential is provided, or it could be denied. Alternatively, many users recommend visiting the immigration office in person, especially in Bangkok, as the TM30 reporting has been relocated to an alternate office near Muang Thong Thani. It is crucial to have your landlord sign the requisite documents and provide necessary information such as the rental agreement. For hotels, the responsibility falls on the accommodation provider to file the TM30.

Are you in Bangkok like your profile says?

If so you need to go to the alternate immigration office they recently opened out by Muang Thong Thani because that is where they moved the TM30 reporting (Section B)

Hi Tod - is it not the hotel / landlords responsibility to file the TM30? If so, how are we assured it is done and what can we show immigration if asked?

@Antony *****
for hotels, it is their responsibility. Ask for the print out of the TM30.

For apartments or homes you rent, ask the landlord, or file it yourself

thanks. Landlord filed by post yesterday. All I have is the tracking code on the post office receipt

that will work. You should get the proof back in a week or so, just staple or clip it in your passport

Yes they needed that when I did mine, no problem.

If you take a taxi make sure they know where they are going, they will always take you to the normal Chang Wattana. Show them the new location. Make sure they drop you at the right gate or its a bit of a walk too. Make sure your landlord signs the sheet with their photo ID on it and take your rental agreement.

You're talking about a TM30 I guess?

You go to the website apply to use it, the application is considered and then they either send you a login password OR the tell you that you're denied

i would just go to the immigration office and file a TM30 in person with the documents you were given but

Here's the website
