What could be the easiest way to get a Kenyan Passport holder into Thailand?

Currently holidaying in Indonesia till Nov 24th.

Then has a ticket to Manila (Philippines).

I have secondhand information that she may have to apply in Kenya for the Visa?

Any advice appreciated...

TLDR : Answer Summary
Kenyan passport holders require a visa to enter Thailand and cannot utilize visa-exempt entry or a visa on arrival. It is recommended that they apply for the visa in Kenya or check if they can do so in neighboring countries like Indonesia or the Philippines. Detailed requirements and processing times may vary, so consulting the relevant Thai consulate’s website is crucial for accurate information.

Look on internet if your friend can apply for a visa in Jakarta or Manila. Malaysian, Vietnam and Laos is not issuing visas anymore to most African countries (only Laos to SA). I do not know about Cambodia.

Check the website of the consulate that they will apply at to see if they're on the list of countries that cannot apply there (or that have a long processing time if they do).

For example here's the list from the thai consulate in Kuala Lumpur which lists Kenya

Kenyans are in the group of passport holders that NEED a visa to get into thailand. They can't get in on any visa exempt entry and they can't BUY a 15 day visa on arrival.

Well the easiest thing for you is to come on your British passport. No visa required (for 30 days)
